XS Sights DXW Standard Dot Handgun Sights

The front sight dovetail cut is made using Brownells .245” x 60° sight insert cutter (carbide cutter highly recommend).

Mill the existing front blade off down to the rib
Drop down .030” and mill off the rib about .375” back from the front of the slide
Center up on that flat (front to rear) with the dovetail cutter zeroed depth wise
Drop down .045 - .050” and cut the dovetail slot
